FAQ's
Why aren’t teachers paid more? Why are so many politicians so eager to take the country to war? Hippie can’t answer all life’s big questions, but we can answer some that keep cropping up during our festivals:
Q: Is this a family-friendly festival?
A: Of course! We welcome families. In fact, we encourage families to attend. Bring the kids. Bring grandma and pops. We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed, friendly, safe environment for people of all ages to relax and soak up some of the finest original singer/songwriters and musicians in the world. Please note: No one under the age of 18 can camp or attend without an adult chaperone.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No. I know, I know. This one is tough. But we had a dog bite a kid once and that was even tougher. So leave Fido at home, please. There are some boarding kennels in the area, if you prefer that route.
Q: Can we buy food & drink on-site? ICE?
A: Yes. There are multiple food vendors with BBQ, grilled meats, sandwiches, snacks, coffee, smoothies, soft drinks, and water for sale. You can purchase ICE in the merchandise tent during the festivals. We also have ICE delivery via the hippie truck in the mornings and afternoons throughout the camping areas.
Q: Are there reserved seats?
A: No. Please bring your own chairs, blankets or sun canopies and sit where you like. We do have large tents set up for shade near each stage.
Q: What is your alcohol policy?
A: No alcohol is sold at the festival. You are allowed to bring in alcohol, but we ask that everyone keep your drinking discreet and responsible. This is a family festival.
Q: Do cell phones work?
A: No. The farm is a cell phone dead zone. You will lose service about 5-8 miles from the festival.
Q: What should I bring with me?
A: Make sure to bring sunscreen, swimsuits, bug spray, flashlights (farm is dark at night), a hat, shades, rain gear, eats and drinks if you like or you can eat from the multiple food and drink vendors on-site
Q: Can I bring my ATV or Golf Cart?
A: No. We don't allow any other motorized vehicles other than Cars, Trucks, SUV, Vans, RV's and motorcycles into the festival for safety reasons.
