Hippie asks for year-round Santas
Last Christmas season, Hippie and Ranger Tom attended a Christmas party for children on the Plateau who have lived through some incredible family difficulty. Ranger Tom jumped at the chance to be the Santa for these wonderful children. Hippie was considered too big for elf duty, so he showed up as himself.
We ask you not to reserve your generosity for the Holiday season. Our hope is that we can work together to support groups that advocate for the young. Our local efforts are focused on the Stephens Center in Livingston, Tennessee. The Stephens center is the only organization in our five-county district sanctioned to go to at-risk homes and act in a preventative manner. There were 6,000 reported cases of child abuse in the five-county region last year. Help us help the Stephens Center prevent these instances.
