Hippie's call-to-action: Please help get more PBS stations to carry the show

If you love watching Jammin at Hippie Jack's, please get on facebook and email to encourage more PBS stations across the country to air the show. We've made it very easy for you and your friends around the country to contact local PBS station managers. See below.

It'll take just a couple minutes, and Hippie will love you even more than he already does. (Unless you're that guy who did that thing last year at the festival. You know who you are.)

pbs3 Click here to find the contact info for your local PBS station. Now, write them, and let them know how much you want them to air Jammin at Hippie Jack's: Here's how:

  1. Send letters and emails to the Program Director and the General Manager. Find suggested email or letter copy below. (Phone calls are fine, but letters and emails are better. They tend to get copied and printed out and carried to meetings and put on desks and forwarded to other folks on staff.)

  2. Encourage your friends, family and co-workers to do the same.

  3. Find the station’s contact information by going directly to your station’s website. Google it, or find your local station info by clicking here.

  4. To really get their attention, we suggest that you use something like the words below when you write to the Program Director and General Manager to tell them why you like the show:

Dear Mr./Ms. ____________:

I love the PBS Americana music series Jammin at Hippie Jack's, and I strongly suggest that you air it locally. It's already showing on over 120 other PBS affiliate stations nationwide and is available through the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) now. Check it out at www.myhippiejack.com.

Thanks!
